Les McLaren M8 sont depuis ce palmarès là, devenues des icônes du sport automobile. Dès 1973, deux frères américains, fan de sport automobile, décidèrent de commercialiser leur vision de la McLaren M8 pour la route. Leur société "Manta Cars '' développa une McLaren M8 surnommée " Mirage ". Comme sur la version originelle, cette réincarnation de la mythique McLaren fut naturellement motorisée par un V8 Chevrolet. En 1974 le film "60 secondes chrono " originel a mis en avant le M8 Replica. Notre McLaren Replica 1978 sort d'une très importante restauration aux USA, peinture complète récente. Le moteur V8 Chevrolet (350 CI), bénéficiant d'une belle préparation avec une puissance estimée entre 425 et 450 CV et accouplé à une boîte mécanique de type G86.20 à 6 rapports. Voiture rare, il n'existerait que 3 exemplaires en France et moins de 10 en Europe. Voiture parfaitement homologuée route en carte grise de collection. The McLaren M8s have since become icons of motorsport. As early as 1973, two American brothers, both motorsport fans, decided to market their vision of the McLaren M8 for the road. Their company "Manta Cars" developed a Mclaren M8 nicknamed "Mirage". As with the original version, this reincarnation of the legendary McLaren was naturally powered by a Chevrolet V8.
